SAVENTORS
Youth mentorship for changemakers
SAVENTORS, SLEAN, ICJF, World Palmyrah Day and more - movements powered by Sri Lankan youth.
Alongside our nine flagship programmes, Save a Life launches initiatives that give young people in Sri Lanka new ways to lead. Since 2014, our youth-led movement in Jaffna has grown into networks for mentorship, environmental action, climate justice and cultural heritage.
Each initiative is open to schools, universities and youth groups, and each connects local action with the wider goals of a healthy, climate-resilient and equitable Sri Lanka.

Celebrating Sri Lanka's tree of life
SAVENTORS is Save a Life's youth mentorship initiative for changemakers. It connects young people with mentors so they can grow the skills and confidence to lead change in their own communities.
SLEAN, the Sri Lanka Environmental Action Network, brings young people and groups together to take environmental action across Sri Lanka, building on the tree planting, mangrove restoration and recycling work of our climate programmes.
ICJF, the International Climate Justice Forum, is a space for young people to discuss climate justice and make their voices heard on how the climate crisis affects communities in Sri Lanka and around the world.
World Palmyrah Day celebrates the palmyrah, Sri Lanka's tree of life, and its importance to the people, culture and environment of Northern Sri Lanka.
Through our RECAP programme, Save a Life supports youth conservation clubs in schools and universities. Club members take part in mangrove restoration, reforestation drives and coastal biodiversity work.
